| Just downloaded the latest version of Thunderbird, and I've said for a while that it seems to get worse with every version but this one takes the cake. I cannot reply to any emails! I click the reply button, I get a new email window, with no text in it, and I cannot type anything. Sorry, but WTF? Who they got testing this crap, Ray charles? Anybody recommend an alternative? |

| I haven't been back to Thunderbird since it lost all of my email at random several years ago. One thing I would advise against is Windows Live Mail, which I've become trapped in just because I can't find anything better. WLM is extremely slow and its search function is useless. |

| alternative ? Which OS ? For linux you will come across the typical alternatives. For windows ... 10 years ago I used TheBat... it is for people getting more than just 100-200 emails a day :D (luckily the times have faded...) bye Ron |
