Is N97(classic/mini) still worth getting?

Miscellaneous Forums/General Help/Is N97(classic/mini) still worth getting?

In my country, there's no N900 available, the highest standard of Nokia phone available is N97, since N900 has Maemo as operating system, and Symbian's future is unsured, don't know will Nokia cease all support for Symbian based phones(maybe it's something eventually, but don't know when this will happen).

If you have one, how do you feel about this phone?

Wasn't Symbian open sourced recently?

My brother's girlfriend has one, and she hates it.

@Warpy

Is it bad or something?

I had one. The weight and size are good. Keyboard was pretty nice too
The camera quality is up there with the best of them. Even the video recording turns out great

The O/S though feels a bit sluggish to use. It's also quite easy to run out of memory. I had this happen once which meant I had to delete lots of messages and what not. This is the phones major weakness

Overall the phone is fairly solid
